The project “indigenous conflict management practice and approach” in Negele, Arsi  is part of the project “Strengthening and Scaling up youth peace agents” project. CDCB took the initiative to expand different peace agents in different community particularly in Oromia ,with the support of USAID/OTI/Dexis, a while ago and has been doing a great job ever since.

The training on indigenous conflict management practice and approach was finalized today. This training was given for three days for Negele, Arsi youth volunteers. The trainees has had an informative training on conflict, conflict management, types and ways of conflict resolution approach and also on traditional peace practices. On the final day of the training a planning session in which the trainees initiated was held. A well oriented action plan for Strengthening and Scaling peace project in their community to be implemented in their city for the next three month was also set.
